The main objectives of camp are met through careful planning of sessions and modifying activities to meet the campers' needs, skills, interests and ages.
Careful consideration is given to placement of each camper with the most suitable groups and activities.
Price ranges on the camp stay length, fundraising is available, and scholarships can be offered as well upon availability.Campers participate in traditional camp activities with counselors who are trained to provide the care that each individual needs. ASWS provides information but it does not constitute medical or legal information.The only cost to families is the transportation to and from the designated pick-up and drop-off locations.Camp New Hope is a year-round facility for ages 8 with physical and developmental disabilities to socialize, gain independence, and experience recreational camp activities while providing families relief from their caregiver duties.
